I really really doubt it .

In my experience water changes are what keeps your critters happy and healthy. Most of the time those filters just become traps for detritus and are a time bomb waiting to go off. I wouldn't trust anything that advertised eliminating water changes.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I am tempted to think it does something right for that outrageous price, but I wouldn't trust it.

Water changes aren't just for NO3. They replace depleted trace elements and remove other impurities.

Exactly. My 55g has zero nitrates with NO mechanical filtration.
