Could Using Bio-Safe affect you cycle?

Maybe maybe not. It sort of depends on how Bio-safe works. I know Prime converts ammonia to ammonium. I know ammonium can still be used both by plants and beneficial bacteria as a food source. So, No clue about BioSafe, but Prime will still make ammonia safe and leave it for the bacteria.

Nothing make ammonia less toxic. Ammonia kills fish...period. Biospira is basically a bag of bacteria that normally takes the fish tank a few weeks to grow. You introduce it at the same time as the fish and it's supposed to cycle the tank instantly. Although it doesn't always work properly. I got HUGE nitrite spikes after a few days with it but as long as you test the water every morning & night and do a water change if there is any ammonia or high nitrites it will work good.
