More on the HL neps:

Jacquelineae... the new one =):

Jamban... seems to be settling in nicely:

Lowii... to illustrate what I was talking about earlier. If you look at the leaves, you can kind of see them getting smaller. Also, if you look at the pitcher in the front, this is what they have all (about 6 before I trimmed) looked like since I got it. There was no real development there. Since I've been able to lower the temp more, you get the pitcher on the right. Starting to get fatter at the base. Hopefully this will continue.

And the intermediates and Droseras. I'll get more individual pics of the droseras later... 'cause I know Pappy will send me a letter bomb if I don't. :sim:

Here's the drosera shelf. They're on the bottom since they tend to like a little more shade:

Copelandii... I just love the pitchers on this guy:

Ventricosa... he's growing like crazy. I lost some of the older pitchers in the transition, but the new pitchers seem none the worse for the wear. They do seem to be taking a little damage due to the size of the plant vs pot. The leaves are at the point where the pitchers are growing right against the outside of the pot, but they are still developing and growing well. The pitcher on the right in the first pic is the newest one. It's bigger than any of the others, and the colors are really coming in nicely:

Vent x Talengensis... this one is still relatively new, but seems to be acclimating well:

Wow jbradt your plants look great.. I know black jungle keeps/ships there neps in pure LFS.. but whats the mix your using for the jamban and how long did you wait until repotting..

Nice CP's but (yes there's a but) my succulents will kick your CP's butts any day lol. JK CP's are nice just they would die on me.

I'm experimenting with a 1:1:1 mix of peat moss, aquatic planting soil, and medium orchid bark. I think when I repot the Jacq I'll add a bit more peat probably (1.5 parts or so) just to give it a little bit more retention prowess. I've experimented with a few different mixes (in empty pots) and this one seems to drain well while still retaining a good amount of moisture. The Jamban seems to love it so far. I waited about a week or so since I brought it home and there was no shipping shock. After shipping, I usually wait until I see significant signs of new growth before repotting. IMO, the pure LFS is good for seedlings/young plants, but I've seen with all my neps so far that they tend to hit a growth spurt after being repotted.

One of us, one of us... =P

I have a confusion. I have been hiding a plant for a while now. I initially got the plant from Home Depot it was the only one they had and it was labeled Nepenthes Hybrid but I have no other info on it.

First day brought home.

I didn't want to give it any special care or treatment. I just wanted to see if it would survive on the window sill over the kitchen sink. If it died I would only be out five bucks so I figured it would make a good test plant.

Present day (two month later)

I think it would get more and darker red spots if it got more light but its not to bad for just watering and misting once a day. Any ideas on what it might be? Also this plant is actually the reason I ordered more Neps from Black Jungle which I will soon be trying to acclimate to lower humidity from their recovery tank wish me luck.
