CP terrarium thread, continued

Your pics are awesome, DP! I'd love to see the place in person.

Thanks! I'm starting to get used to the new camera. The plants look amazing in person. A photo can only capture so much. It's impossible to to capture the entire plant with a macro lens, so I can't really show you how big some of the Neps and S. flavas have grown. A cluster of our rose Pogonia orchids opened their flowers today! I'll get those photos up here ASAP.

Thought I would officially take some pics of my highlanders that I got the other week. They are doing way better than I hoped for.
N. vogelii is putting out a new pitcher pretty much since I got it.

N. izumiae, eh its trying.

N. glabrata Did not skip a beat since I received it and then repotted it a couple days later.

And of course my N. spectabilis x aristolochioides who just popped open.

I'm keeping my N. spectabilis x aristolochioides and N. muluensis x lowii in their original terrarium because they seem to be doing really well in there.

Edit- forgot the full tank shot

They look great, Paul!

Thanks JB

DP- I placed my order last night.

What did you order, Paul?

I ordered
1 D. binata var. multifida
1 Drosera capensis (because I never had one...)
3 Drosera filiformis (going in my bog)
1 Utricularia livida
1 Sarracenia alata x Sarracenia minor (bog)
1 Sarracenia oreophila x S. leucophylla (bog)

Can't wait!

Nice choices! The alata x minors are nice looking plants. He's not kidding with the description of oreophila x leuco, it's a big plant. The multifidias are looking really good, and will be happy to be free of the weeds. Haha, Phil's reaction to U. livida orders is always funny. He keeps it in solitary confinement because it spreads so quickly. Great flowers though. We'll be shipping as soon as the weather cools down. It was 101 F today. I'll se if I can put a budding filiformis in for you.

The N. glabrata looks nice! Awesome miniature.

I'll be posting more pics soon. My flytraps are opening their first function traps of the season! One has already reached .5" traps on upright leaves. Hopefully they'll lay flat soon. N. ventrata is inflating two new pitchers as well, and I kinda want more of them...

Thanks DP! Ya I was kind of hesitant about the order but good your holding off until it gets a little cooler, whenever that may be...Can't wait!
My ventrata, i just noticed today is inflating 2 pitchers that have been sitting outside the terrarium for about 4 months. Wonder what would cause that? Maybe my trimming of the base leaves to reveal my new basal, not sure or the 90F in terrarium. But I might get some uppers soon.
