CP terrarium thread, continued

Thanks, DP! I've never seen a nep flower except in pictures. But I think a couple of mine are getting close to the age where they will put some out. I wanted to put up some updates of the neps today, but my camera seems to have defecated the proverbial sleeping area. So I took this one with my phone. It's the newly re-designed 2 tier rack. Neps and Droseras on top, african violets and orchids on the bottom. I'm hoping to be able to get some better pics if I can get my camera working or borrow my dad's.

How old do neps have to be in order to flower? I always thought it had to be a minimum of 4 feet tall lol.
My VFT 'red dragon' is flowing in my bog. yeay!

Dang! i didn't realize they needed to be that big to flower. The orchid on the right is a phalenopsis that I got from Lowes. Still hoping to get better pics up in the next couple days.

Well I'm not sure they have to be that big, but all the ones I've seen flowering are that big lol

I'd say at least three feet, but the Khasiana is at least at 4'. Cuttings, of course, will flower at a smaller size than seed grown.

Another update, our bicalcarata just opened its first pitcher of the year!!! It's glorious! It's looking like a red form too.

I was looking at that orchid in the wrong way. It almost looked like something entirely different.

It's hard to find space in the rack the way it is for everything. I'm going to try to have to redo it a little bit over the next couple days. Regardless, it'll be getting totally reworked into a 3 shelf fixture when I move. I ended up picking up a new camera tonight. It takes pretty awesome pics, so be prepared to see a bunch in the next few days. =)

Some shots of the droseras with the new camera.
