You get over stepping on it in a few weeks. It grows back so fast that it doesn't really matter. I'm still hunting down the elusive Sphagnum fuscum.

The new Neps are growing already! New leaf developing on the maxima, and new pitcher inflating on the smilesii. I'm going to hate to see the smilesii go.

I got my hummer's giant today. Looks pretty good. Even got a drosera hitch-hiker or two.

Looks like you got some Utric hitchhikers too. Any idea what they dew is? That's a healthy looking Ceph.

Haven't really put a lot of effort into iding it yet. I know it's not one that I've kept yet. Didn't know about the utrics. The ceph really does look pretty happy. Should be cool to see how the whole pot develops!

It's an under appreciated plant. My N. burkei should be on it's way next week! Also have some D. burmannii seeds coming soon.

My wetlands lab went to a site on Lake Superior...holy cow was it full of the coolest looking Sphagnum! Not to mention TONS of purps and a few spots of rotundifolia. Unfortunately my phone was being dumb so I couldn't get any pics but I'm thinking of making the trip this weekend to do some more looking around myself.

No CP updates for today, but I did get licked/smelled by a fully grown Asian water monitor. it was awesome! I must smell interesting, since he seemed rather intrigued by my presence. He didn't mind any close up photos either.

I repotted my bog plants into individual pots. I'm going to try the refrigerator dormancy method this year, so I figured this would be step 1. They've grown pretty well this year. I'm hoping that after a really good dormancy next year will be an explosion.
