Yeah, it's a cool plant. Can't wait until the pitchers get huuuuge!
They should make a huge size jump if you feed it once a week.
N. smilesii opened a new pitcher today! It's smaller than expected, but it's pretty. N. maxima "Lake Poso" should being making a new one too, and the stubborn ventrata should have one inflating now. I'll get pics soon.

What would you feed with, DP? I've been fertilizing once a month or so during the summer, but not usually during the winter.

I use a 1/4 diluted orchid fertilizer solution that I spray directly into the pitchers one a week, 1-3 squirts. Freeze dried daphnia works really well for dews!

It works really well! The Neps at Meadowview can attest to it. I love this little plant already. Survived for 2 weeks at the PO and didn't die! Let's see how this thing grows now.
