I'm a little worried about the N. burkei now. The growing point is completely dead. Any tips on encouraging new growth?

Dang... do you have a pic of it? The only thing I can think of is to clip it back to where the healthy vine is. That might encourage new growth.
You can see it in the full plant photo. I don't know if it's large enough to clip it back, you can tell that it's pretty small.
Okay, the guy I got it from says it should recover. He owns Predatory Plants, so I trust him. I'm pretty confident I'll be able to save it. It's my favorite Nepenthes species so I'm determined to turn this into a show specimen.

a look inside reveals the red absorption glands, didn't even notice that it's such a different color on the inside. Pretty cool

bottom, you can see the sap glands.
