CPR Overflows

anyone know much about them? My overflow box is shot and I am looking at the CPR CS100 to replace it. Its a fresh water setup and I just found out my pump is a 3 speed 300/600/900 gph. I would run the pump on 600gph setting with the CS100.

you want an overflow that uses a U-tube, not a continous siphon overflow.

The U-tube overflows generally flow a little less water, but are far less prone to air accumulation.

Its so bad in the continous siphon overflows that they need an air inlet on the top where you can attach a pump to suck the air out.

Yup, thats what Im talking about.

Most of them function pretty similarly, so no need to spend the extra bucks on the lifereef.
