OK, this crab has been hiding for too long and gotten too big. I also think he's eaten all my clove polyps. The body is white with speckles. It's larger than a hermit crab... about the size of nickel or a little larger.
In this picture, his claw is almost direct center. Below right of the red macro algae and just to the left of the black feather duster. Th pic here is a link to a much larger version. The claw is obviously pointed and brown here, though it looks black most of the time.
