Crab id please

Is this crab safe for my tank?

Kill him, looks like either a gorilla crab or a devil crab.. general rule on crabs, if you didn't put it in there, it probably shouldn't. Ther should be pics on coralpedia?

Cant find pics of it. Looks like a teddybear crab but with stripes. Hes gone now anyway. Got to try and catch a big crab now. He keeps hiding in the rock in a crevis.

I've fould that injecting fesh water in his crevice will sometimes get him to back out, other wise he gets the chopstick treatment to crush his head, or the blowtorch treatment if he's trying to be a funny guy. I do have a teddybear in my sps tank, he doesn't bother them at all lol

good rule of thumb is that if its fuzzy its harmful (in the case of reefs) most fuzzy crabs, like emeralds, have a tendency to do a grate job at cleaning, but nip at corals.
