i have a 30 gal tank and my fish are doing fine but my snails and crabs keep dieing some stay alive out of 10 snail and about 4 are still alive and i just added 10 more crabs and most of them died what could be wrong

From what I have read snails can be one of the most sensitive marine animals especially when it comes to abrupt changes in Ph and SG. Make sure you drip acclimate them for a good amount of time before putting them in and make sure you are not over populating with snails or Hermits they may not find enough to eat.:)

theres planty for them to eat the ph is good a and its not killing all manly crabs the store also told me about 1 snail or crab per gal but i dont even have that so not over populated

Did you buy your tank used? You could have copper in it, which kills off inverts. Might want to invest into a copper test and see.

I agree that it might be the acclimation. How are you doing it?
