I've been using some glass cleaner I bought from Home Depot under the Martha Stewart name. Supposed to be safe and I think it's vinegar based.
Something like 36X12X21.What are the tanks measurements?
Well for $150 your on your way, have you decided what filter to buy for it? Your dog is just the right size and color for my taste. Happy fish keeping![]()
Thanks for the tip!cheaper option for lighting is to retro fit it with CFLs. that should get you more light, and be much cheaper than getting a new fixture.
tank looks and stand looks to be in good condition. not a bad idea to leak test it when it gets warmer outside.
if you think you didnt wipe off all the bleach/water, add a bit extra prime, that will cut the bleach right away.
Thank you! Funny that you saw it too!I think I saw this a few weeks back on craigslist.. Looks good! I definitely look forward to follow this 40g journey!
well lighting wise i think mosst of the questions have been answered, but on the cleaning but i think that the white vinegar water mix would probably be safer but thats just me.
stock wise you will probably get some bias ideas on that. personally i think a nice big school of some type of tetra (maybe one of the less common ones like ember or something) a good school of loaches then a center piece fish (again this is open).
btw i'm noticing a horse theme to the room i'm taking it you like them lol.
I will probably only end up going with one angel then.you definitely want to go with one angel, if you get 2 and they don't pair up it'll get pretty crowded, I'm not saying that it won't work but why take the risk?
I found black skirts to be kinda boring & a bit nippy. I haven't kept bleeding hearts, they look similar to serpaes, also nippy, but you can't tell by looking.
I'd think a horse lover should have horse faced loaches, said the loach lover, lol
