Craigslist buy: My 100G tank brace broken, sealant questionable, NEED INSIGHT 32 PICS

I'm siphoning the water from my 45G into 2 rubbermaid rinsed out 22G containers. I have the AC70, stealth and oxygen going into one for my Oscar. I think he knew he was moving, cause he went into the net with ease and minimal fight once out of the water.

I put stress coat into the water he was going into, and he seems to be doing well. Now I have to move the 45G tank and stand and pick up my friend whos going to help move the 120G inside and onto the stand.

ALL ON EASTER! WOOHOO!

120G is filled 80%, I emptied one of the 22G containers into the tank, and added the slate, wood, gravel to add to the old biological media that was already established in the old tank.

I put the Ehiem 2236 on it with the old tank water and media as well. Bought a second 2236 from Petco and a few other things, additional heater, air pump, air stones, tubing. I'm going to use the old AC70 on it as well so it's just like a water change for them.

My oscar will be added last. The way I'm doing it I should be fine with adding him tonight. Right?

He's in as of earlier today. The 2236 I bought from Petco came broken. Nice right? lol

Hi I didn't find a thread about silicone but I saw the other question about buying from Home Depot. So I picked up a 10.1 oz tube of GE Silicone I* I don't know what the * means I couldn't find it on the tube. So it says that it is not for for aquariums but every tube said that. But it says 100% silicone same as AGA brand at the LFS so I got to thinking that they just put the warning that it is not for aquariums so that if there was an injury or water damage to a home they won't be liable. What do you all think?

Many people have used GE I and II in aquaria and vivaria, and I have never heard of any associated health problems. So I say go for it!

well the GE 2 has the microban in it so it is mildew resistant an might kill the fish or snails even algae. Well what would you usually buy if not the over priced little AGA tube from the LFS

This is the sealant I got from Home Depot.

Well you gave it your best with the 100g. Now you have the perfect Viv aquarium set up. But what ever you do with it good luck. Mr. H
