Craigslist Frustration

I got my 150 off CL for $50.00. The seller told me I was the first to call. I told him I would be right over to pick it up and we agreed on a time. When I went to pick it up he told me of the non-stop ringing of the phone and stated he will never again put his phone # and will do it all by email. Good deals are out there, you have to keep trying. It took me 6 months to finally land one; it was worth it! I also bought 3 tanks from another member here for $1.00 a gallon. They hold water and fish. That make them worth it in my book.

I'm just looking for cheap, not free, tanks and a canister filter.

Oh, I am fine paying for a cheap tank. If its free then great, but I am more than happy to pay for a good deal. The problem is its either free (and gone in minutes) or its a 10G for $100!!! :eek3:

I know what you mean. Some people ask too much. There's currently somebody in my area asking $85 for a 29 gallon. (Off topic, sorta...the best deal I ever got on a tank was my 29 gallon for $5 at a yard sale. That thing has housed more different types of animals than I can count (mainly because I don't know what was housed in it before I had it).)
