crayfish compatibility n requirements

I would consider a seperate species tank. I am speculating that the maintenance and tank care would be the same as with fish. There would be more rocks and hiding places together with plants. Would they require heating.

Crayfish have similar requirements as many tropical fish. There are exceptions. I would highly recommend that you research the types that are locally available to you, and figure out what water/environment requirements they require.

FYI, with some crayfish, breeding is almost unavoidable (given a healthy environment, and 'two to tango').

crayfish tend to snap at smaller fish in the tank and will eat them.

i just finished feeding my puffs a crayfish.... a hard fight put up by mr crayfish... but cant match the intelligence of the puffers going for the pincers
