We fed my wife's betta an ant once...

...by accident. It was sneaking around the tank rim, and got knocked in during a water change. Didn't last very long when he hit the water.

we used to feed our oscars catfood, they loved it. They were like garbage disposals. My mom actually got so attached that when we had fish for dinner she would cover the tank so she wouldnt feel guilty. Hahaha

pompano, tilapia, chicken hearts, night crawlers, beetles, spiders, hornets, rats, snakes, newts, snails, mussels, crayfish, tomatoes, strawberries, bananas, ect, ect, ect. I keep nothing but huge catfish, and they need a varried diet. Funny to watch my 4" rtc eat a 9" night crawler. lol

Did they eat it? Surprised your dog kept it in his mouth, they're supposed to taste nasty like toads (I woulda said "They taste nasty...", but then I'd be teased to death as "The Guy who knows what a Slug Tastes Like" :grinno

My dog didn't use his mouth. He rolled around in sluggy dirt, and gave me a shock when it came time to brush him out. The cories loved it.
