crazy 10g

Good luck getting austin to go salt...

I agree with whoever said Scarlet Badis.

Yeah, except that those are not the easiest fish to keep. You will need to culture your own live fish food, like grindal worms. I wouldn't try anything smaller, as I find it to be wasteful since the fish don't eat most of the tiny worms.

You could get a tank with balloon mollies. Heavaly planted, sand bottom, brakish with some fids. Put in some driftwood to look like the roots of a mangrove tree and vola, great tank!

Heavily planted with dwarf puffers!

This.

OR some cool gobies or gudgeons, depending on what you can find. I think they're fascinating, and lots can fit in a 10 gallon. Peacock gidgeons, australian desert gobies, neon gobies, and more that I can't think of off the top of my head.

go with those Glo Fish, those, with a white sand bottom, and a black light would be cool!

That's part of what makes them interesting. Challenging fish can be very rewarding.

And they can die in a week to. Stick with the simple fish, and go challenging SLOWLY.

I think Austin here has plenty of experience to handle more challenging fish. Scarlet badis are tougher than you think. They are pretty easy to keep. The only challenging part is the live food.

I think they would make a nice tank due to their cichlid like attitude and nice coloration.

Austin has more than enough experience to handle most aquarium fish. Don't be so quick to judge.
