I bought a botia modesta(orange finned loach) about 2 months ago, along with another orange finned loach, and 2 angelfish. i realized quickly, the angelfish did not belong in there. The two orange finned got a long well i thought, and then the smaller one died. not sure how, found him floating on top of the water, no sign of ick. The one left killed both the angelfish and lived alone in the tank for about two weeks. "The Beast" is only about 1 1/2 inches right now. I bought 3 large tinfoil barbs and a pleco. i have now had all the fish together for about 12 hours, and the beast just harasses everyone. the weird thing is, the largest barb is surrending, and being pecked or stabbed by the beast. Also the large barb keeps playing dead , hopefully for the time being, and the pleco is sucking on him. I believe he may be dieing slowly due to stress because the beast has not left him a lone until he plays dead. the beast keeps chasing the pleco also. the beast takes breaks and goes to his cave and lays flat..........why? I want to socialize him, do u think i can get a few clown loaches and put them in there? please help me out, thanks
