crazy injury - need help!!

He's dead. I put him in a hospital tank only to kill him. I feel evil. He was one of my first fish. One of the original 5... there are only 2 from the original group left. :(
 
Viv, don't beat yourself up. I am sorry for your loss. Sometimes, it happens. All you can do is learn from the experience and make sure the mistakes made this time are not ones you make again. We all have been there.
 
Not your fault Viva you did what you could its all a learning experience. Now he is in that big fishy heaven.

How is your other injured fish doing?

My other injured fish is doing well. He's healing up- and I've left him in his main tank. I'll do a serious disinfecting of the hospital and I'm going to go buy an HOB for it. First experience with a songe filter and I'll never use one again. Evil EVIL things! Made me forget oxegyn for my little fishy... :( But yes, it's a learning experience and all I can do is not do it again!
 
I'm so sorry. It's always sad -- but I think you really did a good job but things sometimes happen.

Oh, Viv, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Please don't be hard on yourself... you tried to do the best for your fish, and you care deeply for them. You always provide excellent care. These things happen.

Yesterday, before I moved my Brochis out of the hospital tank, I changed the water and after I did I had a paralyzing moment of fear, thinking I had forgotten to put Prime in the water. I coudn't remember...... turns out I did, but a long time back I did just that.... I forgot the Prime and killed my neons...

We're human... we make mistakes.... and we learn from them.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
