Crazy Science Fact

IMHO the fact that we find the things that require life (while it is a large leap) is no where near what is required to actually make life. The very vastness and awesomeness of the universe and life is one reason why I believe in God (among millions of other things hehe). To me when I see something built perfectly I think "that must have a builder"... Same thing with the Universe, and especially the earth. It's sooo cool!!! Although I totally understand how others believe in only what they see, feel, touch etc. (although you cant do those thing with your brain hehe), I feel, see, and touch God more than anything. Creation is awesome!

Sorry, but that's not science. That's belief. You are welcome to believe what you will. I personally believe that there is life out there.

Science is about facts... it is the antithesis of belief. Highly complex amino acids can self assemble in places like comets and nebula is a fact. RNA can self assemble and act as it's own enzymes is a fact. These facts lead to a fairly logical conclusion that life in our universe is common.

Sorry for the thread hijack.

Other cool science fact:

The strongest bite of any animal extinct or extant belongs to a fish (Dunkleosteus terrelli) and topped out at 80,000 pounds per square inch.

Wow thats a strong fish lol.

Btw, what I said is fact =). A lot more is needed to happen that putting them all in a pile. I know what you mean though.

ALTHOUGH THIS CONVERSATION IS GREAT AND VERY COOL, THIS THREAD IS ABOUT POSTING COOL SCIENCE FACTS SO PLEASE END THE DISCUSSION.

If you want final words post them once and then continue the thread pls =) thx guys

I think he was talking about reaching the edge of the universe as in theory if you go off the "deep end" on the universe you start on the other side again. This however will never happen as going to the farthest star would be 13,000,000,000 light years away and each light year is 9,500,000,000,000 kilometers long. =p

I think he's talking about extrapolating time dilation. As you approach the speed of light time slows down for you. If you extrapolate that linearly then as your exceed the speed of light exponentially you would then have to travel through time in a negative direction rather than the positive direction which we're all doing right now.
