Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize that it was OK to be a moron on the internet! Please forgive me.....

You could read his post couldnt u and you read the words just as if u would have if they were typed out fully so it doesnt matter. :thm:

Ya dude, and we also post speed signs on the road that are 20k less than what everyone drives. So what do you think would happen if we just started posting “realistic” speeds??? Well people would do 20k over and above that too; Hence we have standards that we apply ourselves too. When we begin to ignore those standards and just say “who gives a rats ***?” then we invite our selves into becoming an even MORE ignorant society…

Yes I understand what you are typing; but it also speaks volumes of things like work ethic, and self-respect…. If someone sent me a résumé or a business proposal in that trop; well then! It’s getting the fast track to Mr. Paper Shredder….

School suxs, I only got 3 years left , if i pass, but i want to get above 75%.... and well so far it aint to much over 60..... O wel, its the teachers falt, i havent had the same principal 2 years in a row. they all leave because are school has a good chance of shuting down, and well we get all the crazy ones that no 1 else wants....

Sadly enough, whether this kid is trying to be funny or not, as an Art teacher for 25 years in US, both university and public school, what I have found is that: 1) parents feel no responsibility whatsoever for their kids, do not support their learning, allow them to make any excuses they want, encourage them to disrespect and curse at teachers, make up lies about us when the kids get in trouble (I had a senior tell the principals I was letting kids go in my office and have sex--too many rap videos) and blame us for their inability to learn or behave, and administrators perpetuate it out of fear of reprisals from these undeducated parents; 2) systems continue to lower standards and expectations (in the past 8 years the HS where I teach has reduced # of necessary credits to graduate from 32 to 24); acceptable SAT scores have been lowered to 860; 3) students seriously believe that simply showing up to a class should provide them with an A, with little to no effort at working in class; 4) teachers more and more are treated as ignorant non-professionals while still having to take classes and renew their licences, and the public screams that we are overpaid for doing a lousy job of babysitting and "educating" the monsters they have created.
As I proofread Junior and Senior research papers for their "big" projects, I am appalled at their inability to organize an outline, write complete sentences, follow cogent thinking, do research with all the information at hand today, organize concepts, and LOL how do they manage to write a 5-page continuous paragraph!! Spelling ASIDE, we have critical problems in education and those of us teachers who are well-educated, often beyond a Bachelor's degree, and truly care, are never consulted due to the over-promoted prinicpals being threatened by our knowledge. This is experience and education speaking, not petty sour grapes. I continue to teach, but I have to work with bobo's like the kid above. Don't look into the future, for it is dark, very dark. . . .
