Cryptoheros myrnae

Ok so I bought some C. myrnae from Jeff Rapps on TangledUpInCichlids.com after looking them up online to see what they would look like when full grown and finding out how big they can get. Finding out just like other Crypto's that they stay on the smaller end of the scale I decided to order 4. Sadly 1 was DOA but the other three were alive and healthy and still are over a month later. I ended up with 1 female and 2 males. Well they have grown a bit and are currently being housed in a 20 gallon with 4 baby Thorichthys meeki and 4 T. sp. 'Gold Mixteco'. Well I had posted three pictures on Mikes thread of his Nano's but figured since I've got more pics that I would make my own thread for these fish.

Female is the one with the spot on her dorsal. One without the spot is the male. Thorichthys are in the background.

Yeah I hope so Mike. There is another Crypto I wanna get that is currently available which is on the C.A.R.E.S. list just like your C. nano's. Oh also there having that $1 a gallon sale again at Petco and seeing how I'm paid in advance with my rent I think I'll be picking some up then I'll have the space for more fish when they become available. Just unsure what size I wanna go with for my fish.

That is how i got my 40 breeder that i am picking up at the Indy auction my buddy went there and got me one for 40 bucks we do not have a petco near here in Louisville Petsmart and Feeders supply have a lock on this area a petco would not make it here..

How weird out here we got a petsmart in my city the neighboring city has both petco and petsmart and the city in the opposite direction has petco. There all over and mixed. They both seem to do well together. Just need to figure out what I could get away with. I'm limited on space. My mom suggested I make a lil room on the side of my room outside to turn that into my fish room but then I'de have to part with my plants and I know nothing about building a room.

Yeah that's going to be some work man.. Probably a small rack system in your room with smaller setups like 30 or 40's

I'm thinking of going with 29's but instead of having the length as my viewing window I would have the width as my viewing window. Not positive though. Got to wait till next payday though. They pulled money from me which I forgot they were gonna do and well it left me near broke. So gotta wait a week.

Yea I don't normally put off paying bills unless I have to pay one more then the other or I just simply forget. Just wish I would have remembered they were pulling that money out of my account. Took forever to reflect and now I got $25 in my name for the next 6 days.
