Crystal and Diamond Shrimp Tank

If you could that'd be great. I thought it was something about tail length or posture too? The hardest part will be finding 2 or more of mine to compare.

Sorry, Yadokari, I don't want to take away from your pretty shrimp pics. Shrimp newb, many questions.

i love that tank. it's sweet for the little shrimpies.

You can see in the bottom pic how much thicker in the lower abdomen the female is, the male has a more upright carriage as well.

male, the center shrimp:

Female the most to the right, she is heavily berried as well!:

That's okay :-) it's a good way to learn so I don't really care where this thread leads to.

I am trying to battle thread algae in this tank right now! It's so annoying :( I knew I shouldn't have dosed so much iron... I did a 50% water change today and added hornwort to float at the top, in hopes of draining some of the nutrients out.
Apparently, if using ADA soil, I don't need to dose ferts until 6 months in, else I'll have too much nutrients.
Well, lesson learned! Hopefully, new aquasoil users will read this too and learn from it.

EDIT: Nevermind, after doing more research, it's not thread algae but rather silk algae. Gahhhh!!

Hopefully the algae will resolve for you without too much struggle. Best of luck! Those are truly some beautiful shrimp and I would love to get some of the blacks if you ever have them up for sale/trade.
