Crystal Red Shrimp...

I really get a kick out of my CRS when I feed pellet food as they are very greedy and do not share food well. They will grab a pellet and run off to hide from the others.

Normally I use powdered foods I make myself in a coffee grinder by mixing several brands of dry flake and pellet so even the babies get their share, but I use pellets to lure shrimp to my catch area for netting as well.

Hehe, they are greedy aren't they!! My malaya are like that as well though the crystals are really funny about it when they wrestle of the pellets. Nice shot of a lovely shrimp!

The greediest shrimp breed I have are M. scrabiculum. The alpha male will run about grabbing as many shrimp pellets he can find and jump anyone who comes within four inches of him. Nice Crystal Reds, Bill.
