Cured vs. Uncured for new tank?

Interesting discussion...Can anyone suggest a quality on-line vendor of LR? I am just getting organized to start and with a 54g, LR will csot $$. I don't want to make a mistake. Thanks

here in the uk the cheapest ive seen it in local stores is £10 for cured ($17 approximately) and that looked like the cheap stuff

I paid $10lb Canadian for fiji cured rock. i think it is pretty good but then again i am new to the hobby and almost anything exotic looks good to me. i JUST cant tell what peices of rock i should be looking for.
