What I did was put the liverock in the container that was to hold it during curing. Then I put the saltwater in and placed a heater in with it set to 79 degrees. I also put a powerhead in the container to keep the water circulating. If the rock is not cured at all, there will be a lot of die-off and you should do 100% water changes twice a week and scrub the rock to get the dead junk off. This of course is only for rock you are going to put in an established aquarium. If it's a new tank, then just put the rock in the tank and let it cycle. It's just gonna take a long time to get through an entire cycle.
If you are adding it to an established tank, you need to let die-off happen otherwise you could have another big cycle and spike in ammonia. If it's a new tank, you don't need to worry about any of that because you want that cycle to happen.
