Custom firmware? help?

i have the psp-1001 "phat" and i currently have the 5.51 official firmware. how do i downgrade it to 1.50? i know i need a pandoras battery and a magic memory stick but i have yet to find directions on how to do this.

can you please help me. because i dont want to brick my psp.
 
this sorta helped but i still have no idea how to do it.
 
omg im about to cry at how frusturating this is. have you actually done it yourself or are you just copying articles?
 
crap. you have to do it differently for each firmware. and i made the mistake of updating and now i cant downgrade from the 5.51. its really weird and complicated. and one false move can mess up the psp.

I use to do it, back in the day when it first came out. I had my friend use a pandoras battery on my cousins. Took him 1 minute during gym class (I believe this was one the PSP 2000, sometime in late '07/early '08). I'm not up to date on the current downgrading process, but I'm 99% sure its possible and a lot easier on the "phat" original model. The newer ones don't just already come with a current firmware, but the hardware itself gets in the way. On the old ones, only the firmware is in the way.

can you teach me or show me how to make the pandoras battery and the magic memory card?
