hello! i'd like to know what is the right glass/wall thickness for a custom fish tank. i've been suggested to get a 55G tank but i truly do not like the dimensions of said tank. I can get a custom tank with a dimension more suitable for me but i am worried about the glass thickness not being the right one and thus, creating a disaster.

so if anyone got a chart or any information on the right thickness per galons or tank size i'd appreciate it

Honestly 50 lowboy or 40 breeder or 30 breeder are very good sizes, easy to light and aren’t too big. 40 long is good too it’s a shorter thinner 55

I agree about the 55; never was my favorite. Prefer lower, higher, longer, etc.

Another factor to consider is insulation; thicker = more insulated from room temperature.
