What are you feeding them? Did they start dying off like that after you moved them or before? I prefer my tanks bare bottom when it comes to raising fry.

That may be it but not sure. Does it look like swim bladder? Maybe if you can get a video with a close up of the fry, it can help. I'm not a fan of flakes as it can cause dropsy and swim bladder and haven't fed my fish any since I first started out so can't help you out there.

could they eat a pea thats blanched?

I'd look for some smaller/finer food to feed your fry.

ok ill feed them hikari first bites but theyre pretty big.

ok so another symptom is theyre breathing heavily. im about to test params. i wonder if ive killed any bacteria when i put the declorinator in first and then poor water in?

No... It'd be the other way around. Are you absolutely positive that they're eating? How often are you doing water changes?

they eat im pretty sure since i just feed them and they looked like they were eating. i do water changes daily.

yea i take the top off the vacume and only use the hose and get as much as i can out. ive got another one dieing right now, and apparently i didnt count right. ill have 5 after this one dies. i think. they hide so good under the pvc pipe.
