Cutting plexi-glass/acrylic.. what tools to use?

If you have a dremel, go out and buy some rotozip general purpose bits.

They are saw bits for rotary saws, which is basically a larger dremel, so if you get the bits you should be able to slice through the stuff.
 
Alot of good tools mentioned, but for what your doing(small peices, complex shapes,detail work,) I think you'll be better off with the dremel...the smaller tool will give you more freehand control
 
Dremel with the flex shaft works for me. Make sure you can hang up the Moto-tool vertically so that the flex shaft hangs down near your workspace.
