OK I need help guys... I am building my Internal overflow box for my 90 gallon tank and its the last thing I have to do before I can start cycling the tank :) So I need to know how big to make the gaps in the teeth. In other words how large of a bit to use in my router to cut the openings. I bought a 3/8 bit and practiced on a piece and looks to big to me. Is this a good size or is this to big? What size should I use anyone?

Thanks
Mike

I use a dremel, a REEF's best buddy! the size sounds good too

3/8" is fine. The size isn't really an issue - some home made syphon pipes are just pvc pipe with no teeth, just an open pipe end. I've seen overflow boxes with no teeth. One of my LFS makes custom refugiums and sumps and they just use the width of the blade on a table saw.
The point is simply to take water from the top 1-2" of the water.
