Cycle Update

I'm not exactly sure. I know that I would like 2 Kuhli Loaches, a Dwarf Gourami or 2, 2 ghost shrimp, a couple Turquoise Danios, maybe a couple Golden Harlequin Rasboras, maybe some neons, and maybe a couple cory's. I'm doubting i can put all those in one 10 gal tank, but they're what I'm currently looking at.

yeah you won't be able to fit all those in a 10gal... I'd say add the dwarf gourami first and then test every day and change water as needed to keep ammonia under 1ppm and nitrITE under 1 or maybe 2. Theoretically, the plants soak up the ammonia before the bacteria gets to it, so you have smaller ammonia and nitrite peaks. The gourami should be enough of a bioload to get through the cycle quickly, but shouldn't overwhelm the 10g. after the ammonia and nitrite are at 0, add the rest of the fish slowly. If you have high light and CO2, you should never even see the peaks... ah, but it's too complicated to write about this late at night ;) search this forum or google for "silent cycle" and you'll find some good info on the process. What lighting do you have?

edit: I saw your sig. 15w on a 10 might not be enough to do a true silent cycle, though the plants will probably soften the cycle enough to do a fishy cycle without harming the fish. Ah, cycling with plants is comfusing. sorry if I made you all
