Cycling my 115 gallon

is it ok if i do water changes every 2 days instead?

Your main objective is too keep the nitrites below 0.5. Obviously doing that is hard, so if you want to do evey second day water changes, I strongly suggest you do 50% changes, and definately add salt because the salt will make the nitrites less deadly. So to answer your question you could do it, but be aware of the nitrite levels, if you can. Like I said before it is tuff, but don't give up, we have all been through this.

Using Cycle is just going to screw up the cycling of your tank. Not only does it introduce nitrates (making it harder to see the end products of the cycling process), but if Cycle actually does contain live bacteria, they are not the kind that permanently inhabit your aquarium --that's why you must re-dose Cycle. What you've probably done is introduce bacteria that will compete for food with the ones you want. This will probably delay the end of your cycle.

Repeat after me: I will never use Cycle again.
