i got my 10g tank like 2 days ago, and after i set it up i left like 6 comets in there for a couple of hours. i took them out ever since i found it that wasnt a good thing. should i start my cycle over? its pretty weird tho, i went to petland today and tested my water and the tests came out to color yellow, which means my ammonia and nitrite are at 0. why was it so fast? well i kinda used filtered water to fill up my tank. plus i got two filters, an aqua clear 20 clip on and this elite 800 air pump that i connected to a bottom filter i bought today since i noticed the water started getting a little cloudy. i dont know if thats normal or not, but its not going away. i was desiring crystal clear water... :shakehead:
can u guys relieve my worries
1. my cloudy tank, i dont know what it is but there are alot of these tiny looking air bubbles in it or w/e, is that normal?
2. should i get fish for cycling even if i already put this cycling pouch and aqua plus?
3. when should i go back to petland and get my water tested again?
4. are my filters fine?

I don't know much about comets but fish can live fine without food for a week easily. That doesn't mean its a nice thing to do but if they are there in the tank I wouldn't move them. Buy some sort of cycling bacteria additive or even better, go to a mom and pop pet store and ask for some seeded filter media to cycle your tank. The bubbles are certainly normal. You will need to be careful of how much food you put in the tank for 3 weeks or so.

Yes, this is normal, you will see it again if you do a thorough clean of any tank with a huge water change (say 90%). It will go away. Looks kind of festive though, yes?

Fish are already in there which means you will do a fish-in cycle. Lots of water changes in the near future, which aren't the biggest deal with a ten gallon...
You will find that most people will advise you to not mess with the water too much. Instant cycles do not work (unless you use a big amount of gravel from an established tank and/or a filter from an established tank, but even then you will need to test to see if mini cycles start...). Most people us tap water that they treat with prime or something like that (TLC is the same thing). All the "quick cycle" things are a waste of money, really.

3. when should i go back to petland and get my water tested again?

Buy a test kit. You are doing a fish in cycle and will be testing every day. It will take a while to get amonia (but with 6 comets not too long, that is a big bio-load to start with). When you do see amonia start doing water changes and keep the level under .25. Next is nitrite. Again, lots of water changes, keep the level under .25. Once those are both down to 0 and you have nitrate you are done. Expect it to be 4 to 6 weeks!

4. are my filters fine?

Yes.

Hope this helps!

Your water showed 0 nitrite and ammonia because you are basically just testing tap water.

Be sure to read this info on cycling....since you say you have took the fish out then go for the fishless cycle.....It takes time but I feel if someone can commit to the time it takes to test and keep track of a fishless cycle daily then it will show you how serious you are about keeping the fish the happiest they can be in the long haul.

any suggestions on what kind of fish and quantity of it, to cycle my 10g tank. i plan on keeping around 4 corys then 8 glofish for my final tank.

I would go with Zebras they are pretty hardy.Maybe 2 or 3 for a 10 gallon tank.
