cycling Qustion

i just got the last of my live rock, 27.5 pounds (ill be geting 1 last peice once it come off order, i have oe qestion, if the rock is fully cured do i have to cycle my tank?

There will be some die off on the rock that will create a cycle.Mat be a very small cycle that only last a few days but it will still cycle.And needs to cycle.

You will almost always have a cycle unless the rock is out of water for a very short period of time. However, my experience with cured rock that I have ordered online has been short curing periods, under 2 weeks.

granted, I have a lfs that I buy small chunks from on occasion, and I dont worry about a cycle at all from there, since its about 5 minutes away
