D.I.Y. 3D Background - How To - W.I.P.

Nice job!

Very nice job! I can't wait to see wet pics.

thats going to be a while, Im going to give this some time to dry and cure totally before adding water..... that, and I need a buttload of fittings for my upcoming plumbing nightmare :)

ordering those slowly to save money, and make sure I dont miss anything.

Hey hey hey, another penn plax castle hah!

Good to see youre finally getting around to finishing this DIY job. :)

is that penn plax??? I was wondering what company made it.... I was/am half considering getting the matching half of it.... I dont think I need to take any more room out of my tank though :)

But yeah, im kind of glad its done too. This will give it LOTS of time to dry and cure while I slowly work on the plumbing....... there are only a few minor things I need to touch up to consider this project fully completed.

I was/am half considering getting the matching half of it....

They are pretty neat, kids picked them out for our new tank because they reminded them of Disney.

ya my gf picked this one cause she liked it..... it was $80 by itself, and they didnt have the other half in stock.

Looking at the size of it(them) though, its best I dont have both pieces in my tank lol.

it really looks freakin cool though.

It's cool to see the fish swim in ond out of the doors and arches. I like when the snail cruises around on mine too.

WAAAHHHHH... BEST PIC EVER!!!!

I managed to get these two (what i consider) incredible pics of the background, in just the right light to be able to see some detail, with out it being too bright or shiny (still too shiny though lol)

Can't tell-is there water in the tank?

The shiny might go down with water in tank; would try that before srewing with what you got now. After all, the secret is knowing when to leave well enough alone!
