Daily 25% PWC harmful?

I just finished medicating my tank for a couple weeks to get rid of parasites and a bacterial infection. Now I'd like to flush all the medications out, plus my water is cloudy. I plan on doing daily 25% PWC for maybe 5 days or so, aggressively vacuuming the gravel with my Python to make sure I get any buried parasites out of there.

I have two large Ehiem cannister filters, any good bacteria that didn't get killed by the medications should be safe in there. My fish are small and very friendly Goldfish. They never mind me vacuuming and I have a large tank with plenty of room for them to move around so I don't think they'd get stressed. I'll keep the water temp the same and treat the tank with Prime.

Could this cause any problems?

shouldnt be a problem, something else you could do is add carbon to your filters for a few days.. that would absorb any medication left over.

i agree, a water change or two with some new carbon should get your tank cleared up real quick

I might do the carbon too. I only have a carbon pad for one of my filters though. I'll have to check the local pet supply place and see if I can get some carbon and a bag to put in the other.

A daily PWC is perfectly fine - been doing them for months for my discus and it's actually recomended - so i don't see it being a problem for u

Water change and carbon will be your main course.

perfectly safe if the PH, temp and some other params are the same.
