damsel question

I have 2 Damsels and 2 False Percs together in the same tank and they get along just fine. None of them bother each other, but it could be because I have plenty of caves and places to hide because of my LR

what kind of damsels you have? and what's your tank size?

*edit: I just saw, in an other thread, what size is your tank and the damsels you have*
sorry about that, never mind...lol

I had two blue velvet damsels and one completely harrassed the other until the smaller one hid in the top corner all day and looked ragged and horrible. I was sure it was going to die.

So I removed the bigger one and now the one that was being beat up on is now bullying the other two damsels I have!( yellow-tail and 4-stripe).

Bottom line-don't buy damsels unless you want a damsel only tank. I will probably get rid of all of mine (if I can convince my wife) and maybe just leave the yellow tail as he is still small and seems the least aggressive.

I have a nearly all damsel tank (5 damsels: azure, blue, & 2-stripe and a royal gramma).

I have developed a strong disliking to the male orange tail blue damsel. He loves to dig and showers sand all over the place, coating several corals with sand (as if in spite). This same fish also directs all of it's aggression toward me and diligently attacks my hand whenever I enter it in the tank. :angryfire:

Being impossible to catch, I've had to aquascape the tank to suit him (meaning I've had to place certain corals where they won't receive sandshowers rather where I actually want them placed). :wall:

How long do damsels live? :)
