Damselfy in my aquarium!!!!

I just did a water change, and in the old water was a 1 inch long damselfly nimph !! I didnt know what it was but I did some research on the net and got a picture its definitly a damselfy. How the heck did this happen and should I worry ? Although I doubt anyone has had this happen...then again i could be wrong.

Btw this was in my 20 gallon

Such incidents actually occur rather frequently - most aquatic insect larvae come in amongst live plants. How large is the smallest inhabitant of that tank?
 
I had one hitch hike in with some hornwort. I got rid of it because it was in the newt tank and apparently newts are real wussies about sharing their tank.

ahh, a larvae of a dragon fly?

Wierd situation.

I also found a snail in my tank for no apparent reason. Must come from my plant, yet I didn't see. The advice I can give is to check and clean your plants before adding the new plants.

It was about an inch long, and green. It swam like a eel....sort of. Kind of creepy.

****ing kill it!

Bleahhhhh, I hate those things. Should I ever find one in my tank carnage will ensue.
