RATS !

One of my half black pastel guppies in my B&W tank has completely disappeared !!

oO(#%$&**@)

I hate it when that happens ! Not a trace of it anywhere and the top is completely covered. It couldn't have been eaten without a trace of it left anywhere.....could it ???

The only other fish in this tank are 2 other halfblack guppies and some other black type fancy guppy, 5 panda cories, 1 white cloud, 3 ghost shrimp and 1 black kuhlii loach.

Anybody know who the culprit might be ?

Fish aliens. They are responsible for untold numbers of mysterious fish disappearances.

Seriously, tho...how many is one half? One fish? or more. I could see one fish maybe dying and your clean up crew disposing of before you know it.

Lol Nursie.....here's a pic of these guys....mostly black, with silky white fins...I guess they call them "half blacks" because they have white towards the front end..

Ghink, this tank is right next to the puter...between the livingroom and kitchen....I'm always glancing at it as I pass by...I know it has to be that it got eaten by one or all of those, but I just can't imagine they could do the dirty deed without me noticing SOMETHING amiss, at least part of the poor victim floating around at some point...or a mass feeding frenzy as they finished him off.....lol.....

Of course, that's the obvious answer.....but it's more fun to ponder the possibility of aliens having something to do with it....maybe I should pm Joe on this.... :D

Sorry for being too literal. :)
Ok for an obscure, related quote..."So long and thanks for all the fish."

:joe:

Well, mall fish tend to hide pretty well and dissapear for days. Neon tetras do that a lot, and it probably means they are being abducted by small alien sghips that fly to my tanks, take them, fertilize them and them set them back to my tank.

Only....they always come out at chow time.....this one hasn't shown up for the last 3 feedings......he's a goner !!

And Ghinksmon
"So long and thanks for all the fish."

Lol.....If I ever see dolphins floating into the sky....I'll think of you...and take one last glance for that guppy...to see if perhaps it was the porpoises after all !
