What do you all think about this....

I had this wild idea to add a Female Betta to my tank. I forgot how beautiful they are... I'd like a male but I know he wouldn't get along with what I have in the aquarium already.

I have 2 Zebra Danios and a Snail.
Think a female Betta would work?
Would the Danios and the Betta get along?

I have quite a bit of plants.. and they just keep getting bigger each day.. So there are plenty of hiding places!

my sister has a male betta in her community tank. she doesnt have danios but he does get along with everybody just fine. but it varies from betta to betta.

hmmm now i have had a betta attack rainbows an danios chase guppies about sooo unless u got placid betta an placid danios i wouldnt bother why not have ya betta in a tank on his/hers own an give the danios a tank of there own.

I have a male betta in a tank with male fancy guppies, 4 snails, and 2 long-finned blue danios and I've never had any problems, but it really depends on your betta.

In that tank it will not work. I have a male Betta with danios and they have their space and are fine. That tank would be good for 1 betta and 1 snail. The danios really need space to play and swim, IMO they are not happy in a small tank like that. Also, they are schooling fish that need at least 5-6 fish in order to stay happy.
