Danios pregnant?

any results?

My danio has the exact same problem- super fat looking all of a sudden. How did your danio end up? Did she lay eggs, or naturally return to her normal size? thanks!
 
I'm with you... I have a VERY rotund female but don't know how to get her to spawn. I have two females and one male in a community tank. This is the only picture I have of her.

maybe she needs to feel safe to spawn, put her and some males in a seperate tank by themselves for a week and then pull them out, she should drop by then otherwise it may be something else... or she just does not want to drop them...
 
i had a female that got fatter than all the others, even when i would slow feeding. One day before work i saw her fat as ussual when i come home 10 hours l8ter to check on her, she's as skinny as the males, i guess she laid the eggs and they had a feast on them as soon as they dropped. My barbs might have eaten them too. i dunno, wlel good luck.
