I'm setting up a 30L tank to culture daphnia in. It'll be steady at about 21C as my other tanks are. Can I keep shrimp in with them and if so, which?

The pH is 7.2, and I've got a small sponge filter for it. Plenty of java moss I can chuck a bit of in too.

I wouldn't. Most all shrimp are opportunistic when it comes to things like eggs, and will seriously reduce the daphnia production.

Depends on the shrimp. Amano shrimp would be OK.
