Dark Matter: Invisible, Mysterious and Perhaps Nonexistent

My personal opinion is that "dark matter" is just a way of trying to fill in the blank with the assumption that all explainations must come back to matter. I think we should look more to energy for describing the Universe. Vortex theory comes closer to a reasonable explaination.(I looked for a link, but it's too complicated for just one link - do a google) Vortices have practical applications too, such as in how the human body works, and for observing and understanding weather patterns like Hurricanes. :idea2:

I think I agree with you, flyingfish. Not trying to get religious or anything here, but I believe the soul is a form of energy, and although science hasn't exactly proven anything on this matter, I do think there are hints here and there.
Example:There is a small electrical charge that keeps the heart beating constantly for as long as we live. We also have numerous charges shooting off and on inside our brains.

Then I think back to something I read in a highschool textbook. It said that energy cannot be destroyed or created, implying that the energy is already existent and only that it needs to be harnessed in a way that ignites it into the physical plane. So then, I thought, if the energy that exists within our bodies disappears after we die, it is only really fading into another plane of existence invisible to this world in which we live. At least that's my theory.

I'd like to start another TOPIC on this, even though I may have done a similar Post way back. There is something to this "energy".... It's been said, and I'm fairly sure 'proven,' that when someone dies, there's a loss of body weight of a few ounces. There has been no proven reason for this, not the last exhale, fluids, etc.. It would be interesting to see what recent research (if any) has been done on this topic.
