daytrip to dc...

my boyfriend and i took a trip to virginia to visit his father, who i had yet to meet...
we decided to take a daytrip to dc and see what we could with the time we had..
definitely needed a week, but we still had fun. a lot of the pictures are of random buildings we saw walking the streets.. i just thought they were so huge, and neat. and then a few from one of the smithsonian's..

Too bad you didn't have time to go up into the city, away from the touristy spots, and see some of the old brownstones that survived the burning of the city. Gald you enjoyed your trip.
