Dead Birds & Fish

Thousands of fish are washing up in New Zealand now, too.

They were all snapper. But this could be deliberate as the majority of the fish were of legal size. It is still confusing as to why this all happened within a couple of days.... ?

Anyone see the movie The Happening?? :uhoh:

Not but seriously, I didn't post this to feed paranoia or anything of the sort, just want to see what my fellow fish friends think about these goings on.

Well after a little more research, I've found that there have been fish die offs in Maryland, Kentucky and Brazil.

In Maryland they think that the cold weather may have killed the fish that have been seen washing ashore on the Chesapeake Bay. Since these were saltwater fish I find it hard to believe that they would just stay in the cold water and not go out to deeper water or even out to sea...

In Kentucky, fish have been seen washing ashore ponds and streams at alarming rates. So far there cause.

In Brazil over 15 tons of ocean fish are washing ashore! Several world leaders are increasing their spending to try to figure this out.

The Red-Winged Blackbirds found on a Louisiana highway are thought to have died due to the power lines. Either they flew into one and were stunned or they all were sitting on one and a jolt was sent through the line killing the birds.

50 dead jackdaws were found in a Swedish town where fireworks were set off.

When will the chaos end?!?!

The whole "power line, firework" bit just isn't sitting with me. Somethings not right...and it all makes me think of the Canary in the coal mine. Guess we should start stocking up on bottled water, Twinkies & spam!

The thing about the power lines is birds perch on them all the time. There needs to be a path to ground in order for a jolt to go from the power line. That's why birds don't get fried all the time. They don't make a path to ground.

Honestly, these things are probably more common than we realize, and they are only getting more attention now because of the hype. No need to freak out folks...

:nilly:

It must be the hadron collider!
