I had two young/small clowns and my tank has been cycled for about a month and a half and completed and they were added around 2-3 weeks ago. a few days ago I got some eagle eye polyps. And now for no known reason to me, the clowns are both dead. -- Is it anything to do with the polyps? I might be moving to fast for such a new tank and maybe I'll wait a few weeks before buying anything else-- I'm quite depressed because they were doing fine and I loved them and now there dead! This almost makes me wanna just quit with my tank but idk, any ideas?

They both just died out of nowhere? No signs? Just here today gone tomorrow? As much as this may pain you, can you explain what happened in more detail?

Did you inspect the dead fish for abrashions, wounds, skin disorders when you removed them? its odd that they both died...

A water param list would be good, and list any additives you may be adding to the tank..

Interestingly enough... I have a clown fish that is acting like he may not make it, and I just added a polyp yesterday!.... strange

to my knowledge one of the clowns started acting weird the day after I added the polyp (as in not swimming around much at all and more in the rocks). This fish died probably 2 days ago and yesterday morning the other clown was sucked to the side of the powerhead just because it was floating around the tank i'm sure.-- sadly I was away while this happened but my dad was watching them but that's what I heard from him. My parameters are about the same as they were when I left which is either 0 or a little over but not even close to .05. - like no nitrite so i'd say 0-- and like 20-25 for nitrate-- PH like 7.4- alacrity like 2.3-- it was about the same as when I left so It doesn't seem like there were any drastic changes since I was gone. -- I really have no idea why they died. Other than maybe I should have taken my time, I also got a scooter blenny about a week ago and he's doing great. -- there was nothing I could see out of the ordinary about the fish other than 1 was practically decomposed when I got back and the crabs have eaten it now.

That range is fine. For something to kill both fish so suddenly, there would have to be something significant. Did you change anything else or do anything else other than adding the zoanthids?
