have 2 per clown for 2 months and I want to add 1 more fish to the DT. Last 2 week, I bought a white goby and acclimate more than 3+ hours and put him in the DT. He was happy for the first day, the next day he hid behind the rock and didn’t eat anything. The next day, he died. Last week, on Saturday, I bought a beauty coral and acclimate more than 3+ hours and put her in the DT. Right after she was released to the DT, she hid behind the rock and never came out to look for food or swam around and she died this morning. I don’t know what’s going on. My 2 per clown are still happy. :help:

the fish maybe getting over stressed in the bag for such a long time 3hrs try cut it down to an hour but then if could be something else so see what other response you get

Drip acclimate over the course of an hour or so.

Three hours in a bag (especially if just floating there) is too long leading to decreased oxygen levels and rising ammonia. Remember, there's very little nitrifying bacteria is a plastic bag and the fish is swimming in its own crap.

I floated the bag inside the tank for 20 min then poured the fish in the bucket and did a drip acclimation method for 3+ hours, then net the fish to the tank. I did the same way for the per clown.

was the bucket heated? could the bucket of water been warmer are cooler thank the main tank?
