Dead Turbo Snail

I approximate. Since my snails were close to 2 1/2 inches I figure they were probably full adults. maybe 2 years old. but thats a guess based on how slow they seem to grow. Some snails will grow faster than others but this seems about right to me. Like I said, Its a guess...

Maybe you can count there rings like a tree (lol)

The problem is if a snail gets damaged from bad acclimation it can take months or years for it to die from the injury. The only thing snails cant take well is a rapid change in water chemistry.

When mine came, they were full adults. They came from the LFS and they put them in a bag with water for the quick transport. I would like to get a bunch of younger snails for my tank.
